What Gmail and Drive access enables

DynamicMail requests a Google permission only after a user starts the corresponding connection flow.

Read-only Gmail inbound

DynamicMail can load messages and attachments into the connected document workflow. This permission does not allow DynamicMail to send, modify, archive, label, move, or delete Gmail messages.

Google Drive Data Rooms

Authorized users can select existing files and folders for import, export, synchronization, updates, and requested sharing changes inside tenant-scoped Data Rooms.

The approved Drive configuration is not drive.file and it is not a read-only Drive scope. DynamicMail adds an app file picker and room permissions, but those product controls do not change the underlying Google scope.

How Google user data is used

Three separate access decisions

  • Sign-in establishes the user session and account identity.
  • Google OAuth consent authorizes the listed Google API scopes for a connected account.
  • Tenant and Data Room permissions control which DynamicMail workspace and room members may use connected content.

Passing one of these checks does not automatically grant either of the others.

Disconnect, revoke, or delete

A user can disconnect a Google integration in DynamicMail or manage or revoke the connection in Google Account. That stops future API access once the revocation takes effect.

Stopping future access is not the same as deleting content already imported into a tenant or Data Room. Use the relevant room deletion controls or contact support@dynamicmail.ai for help with retained copies, subject to applicable account, legal, and retention requirements.
